What to Wear!

So you have a closet full of cloths, but not sure what to wear. Hear are a few tips that can help you select the clothing to wear for your Senior Portrait Session.

  • Choose a Variety of outfits.  It's a good idea to include both formal and casual outfits. You choose a couple and let Mom choose several, that way everyone will be happy.
  • Your face will be the focal point of your Senior portraits. Long sleeves solids or very subtle prints are usually the best and most flattering in portraits.
  • Medium to light colors look the best on lighter colored backgrounds.
  • Medium to dark clothes look the best on dark backgrounds.
  • Some poses will show your shoes so don't forget to bring shoes and socks for each outfit that you plan to wear.
  • Earth tones are the best for outdoor portraits
  • Busy patterns and loud colors can be very distracting in your portraits.  Avoid large and bold patterns that might tend to draw attention away from your face.
